Since October 2024, AEGAON has become a supporter of Estonian basketball club Kalev/Cramo for the remainder of this season. As part of the partnership, all team members receive a personalized AEGAON watch with an engraved message on their birthdays, and spectators at home games will also have the chance to win a watch.
This fall, AEGAON and BC Kalev/Cramo established a collaboration where team members receive AEGAON watches with the club’s logo as birthday gifts, and enthusiastic fans attending home games also have the opportunity to win a watch with their standout performance.
"Our first thought was – what could AEGAON possibly offer to such a huge basketball club? We were pleasantly surprised to learn they were interested in our products rather than a financial contribution," recalls Kristjan Rabi, AEGAON's Marketing Director, about the initial approach.
According to Kalev/Cramo's Marketing Director, Allan Siimann, it’s fantastic that two strong Estonian brands have come together and found such a fitting and logical collaboration format.
"AEGAON watch is a perfect gift. Our players will receive special watches engraved with the club logo on their birthdays. In return, there will be a branded 24-second clock at games, creating an ideal synergy between the team and AEGAON," Siimann added.
Fans and spectators also benefit from this partnership. While men typically participate in halftime shooting contests to win prizes, AEGAON’s keen eye quickly noticed the “what if” looks from women in the crowd. With the recent release of AEGAON’s first genuine women’s design “Iris,” an addition to the prize pool was added quickly as pro bono.
"Everyone comes to the arena primarily for the experience, that can't be televised. We want to contribute to that excitement with more than just our logos on the court. The joy in people’s eyes when they buy or win a watch is exactly the same," explains Kristjan Rabi.
So far, two joyful moments have been created – one at the home game against Viimsi and the other in the European Cup game against Rilski, attended by former Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid, who recently became the head of the Estonian Olympic Committee. The Olympic Committee is also an important partner for AEGAON, as they are gifting AEGAON watches to Olympic champions.
