VIII AEGAON Golf Open by Husqvarna Brings Over €50,000 in Prizes to Pärnu Bay

On 22 August, Pärnu Bay Golf Links will host the eighth AEGAON Golf Open—voted among Estonia’s top five golf tournaments. Presented by Husqvarna, this year’s golf and lifestyle event features a prize pool worth over €50,000, with a brand-new Lexus LBX among the headline prizes for a hole-in-one. Registration and details are found at golf.aegaon.com

Over the past eight years, the AEGAON Golf Open has grown into one of Estonia’s most highly regarded golf and lifestyle events. Organised by AEGAON, Estonia’s first watch brand, the tournament combines competitive golf with the atmosphere of summer in Pärnu, bringing together entrepreneurs and well-known Estonian and international brands.

Husqvarna is the title sponsor of this year’s event, with Lexus and AEGAON as main sponsors. In total, more than €50,000 worth of prizes will be awarded throughout the tournament.

A hole-in-one could win you a brand-new Lexus LBX

The tournament’s most valuable individual prize awaits players on the second hole, where a hole-in-one will win a brand-new Lexus LBX. This is not a temporary-use prize—the winner gets to keep the car.

The Lexus LBX is a compact luxury SUV and one of the newest additions to the Lexus European model range.

A second hole-in-one competition will take place on the fourth hole in cooperation with BoGolf, with new golf equipment up for grabs.

Husqvarna will also reward both male and female players in several special competitions. The longest-drive competitions will take place on the 10th hole, with Husqvarna grass trimmers awarded to the winners. On the 17th hole, the winners of the closest-to-the-pin competitions will receive Husqvarna leaf blowers.

ASSA ABLOY will provide smart locks for the winners of the closest-to-the-pin competitions on the 14th hole, while the 19th hole will host a charity closest-to-the-pin competition in cooperation with Tanni Kauplus.

AEGAON puts 20 watches up for grabs

Tournament organiser AEGAON will provide a total of 20 watches as prizes this year. All players finishing on the podium will receive some of AEGAON’s newest and rarest timepieces.

The names of the tournament winners will traditionally be engraved on the AEGAON Golf Open perpetual trophy created by artist Kristjan Oden.

In addition to prizes awarded for results on the course, numerous partner prizes will be raffled among the players. This year’s AEGAON Golf Open partners include Husqvarna, Lexus, AEGAON, ASSA ABLOY, Golfin, Tanker, Wasa Resort, Coca-Cola, Don Simon, BoGolf, Tanni Kauplus, Casa Charlize, Da Vinci, Mikheim, MO Saaremaa, Jomara, Business Galerii, The Varietea Shop, Avène, Monster Energy, Port Artur, Big Green Egg, LGFG Fashion House, Vitamin Well and others.

More than a golf tournament—a full weekend in Pärnu

The AEGAON Golf Open was never intended to be just a golf tournament. The event brings together golf, summer in Pärnu, relaxation, entertainment and great company, turning the tournament into a complete weekend experience.

Participants are encouraged to arrive in Pärnu on Friday and enjoy the city’s restaurants, spas, seaside and summer atmosphere, combining Saturday’s tournament with a weekend getaway in Estonia’s summer capital.

The tournament’s official accommodation partner is Wasa Resort, where AEGAON Golf Open guests can receive a 20% discount on accommodation from 21–23 August using the code “Aegaon20”. Bookings of at least two nights also include a complimentary 30-minute classical massage.

The eighth AEGAON Golf Open

The AEGAON Golf Open was established in 2019 and returns for its eighth edition this year. Over the years, it has developed into an event that brings together golfers, entrepreneurs and brands united by a passion for golf, lifestyle and quality time.

In a previous survey among Estonian golfers, the AEGAON Golf Open was voted among the five best golf tournaments in Estonia.

This year’s tournament is limited to 136 players. The entry fee is €130, and players must have a WHS Handicap Index of 36.0 or lower. The entry fee includes the green fee, catering, a welcome pack and eligibility for tournament prizes.

Registration takes place via GolfBox and closes on 15 August at 23:59.
