Ilmarine was a mighty smith who forged the sky from steel, set the stars in motion and created a mechanism that runs by itself. Kreutzwald held him in such high regard that he wrote Ilmarine into our national epic "Kalevipoeg". Wiegand later gave his name to one of the most powerful machine factories in our history – whose legacy was in turn sung into our very bones by the legendary Ultima Thule. Now it is time for AEGAON to give Ilmarine a new form and meaning.
A SENSATIONAL FEELING
That tingling sensation running through your chest when you hear a Alo Mattiisen song. When the gleam of our athletes’ medals moistens the corner of your eye like a desert mist. Or when a mention of Estonia in a foreign movie seems to make us just a little bigger on the world map every time.
108 YEARS AS ESTONIANS
Officially since 8:00 PM on February 23, 1918. An extraordinary moment in time, when our Manifesto of Independence was solemnly proclaimed from the balcony of the Endla Theatre.
AEGA ON
We are proud of our origin and brand name shaped by our native language. Since 2012, we have drawn inspiration from remarkable Estonians who have created singular moments for themselves and for all of us.
LESS IS MORE
We may be few, but to our closest ones, we are an entire world. The same philosophy guides our watches — individually numbered and limited to 300 pieces per design.
